Description
CuNi2Be Sleeve for Resistance Welding & High-Conductivity Applications — Precision CNC Machined to ±0.005mm
Jiaye Dingsheng produces CuNi2Be sleeves in C17510 nickel beryllium copper alloy which meet the standards of CW110C, DIN 2.0850 and RWMA Class 3. Made with the precise accuracy of 0.005mm from in-house CNC machining and vacuum melting of the raw materials. Thermal conductivity is 200-240 W/m·K, and electrical conductivity is 45-60% IACS. It dissipates heat better than common bronze bushings and C17200 beryllium copper. Available OD varies from 10mm to 500mm and bespoke diameters are supported. Each product is supplied with EN 10204 3.1 Test certificates.

What Is a CuNi2Be Sleeve and Why Does It Matter?
CuNi2Be sleeves effectively handle two prominent issues: typical brass and bronze sleeves are subject to heat softening and galling with steel shafts during dynamic operation.
The alloy is made up of 0.20–0.60% beryllium and 1.40–2.20% nickel.
The microstructure is stabilised by the interior precipitates following the TF00 age hardening with the hardness of ~100 HRB at the operating temperature of up to 400 °C.
It does not disturb magnetism when used with precision equipment, as its magnetic permeability is less than 1.001.

Key Performance Advantages
CuNi2Be sleeves significantly outperform tool steel and phosphor bronze in terms of heat dissipation, which helps reduce injection mold cycle time. For high-current equipment, greater conductivity lowers internal heat generation. Long-term sliding friction is prevented by the stable microstructure's resistance to fretting and scuffing.
The substance does not spark in combustible workplaces. Nickel adapts to a variety of challenging working environments by forming a protective oxide layer that resists marine biofouling, industrial water corrosion, and chloride pitting.
Primary Application Scenarios
Aerospace landing gear bushing parts, oil-gas MWD/LWD non-magnetic drill tool accessories, resistance welding equipment shaft sleeves, bearing compression components, injection mold hot runner cooling inserts, and continuous casting guide components are only a few of its numerous uses. It can adjust to high-load, high-temperature, and high-precision operating environments.
Quality Control & Inspection Protocol
Each product is examined in three phases: OES spectrum analysis verifies the raw material composition.
Real-time tracking is done for heat treatment parameters and mid-production hardness.
The final inspection includes measurements, internal fault detection, hardness, and tensile strength.
CMM precision calibration ensures tolerance compliance with formal test results and full batch traceability.

Customization & Supply Options
We support custom caliber, wall thickness, length, surface finish and temper. In-house CNC processing avoids third-party outsourcing delays. Standard stocks are delivered in 3–5 days, and custom products get quotations within 24 hours.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What is the difference between CuNi2Be and C17200 ?
A1: Although C17200 has better tensile strength, CuNi2Be is more thermally and electrically conductive and is used when heat dissipation and current conduction are required.
Q2: What is the hottest temperature it can be operated at?
A2: Although the long-time continuous operation at 300 °C would gradually reduce hardness, it can keep stable mechanical characteristics under the short-time load at 400 °C.
Q3: Is extra lubrication required for the sleeve?
A3: Molybdenum disulfide grease is advised for strong dynamic loads in order to prolong service life; dry or mild lubrication is offered for conventional use.
Q4: Does the material comply with RoHS regulations?
A4: Solid CuNi2Be alloy satisfies REACH and RoHS requirements; during dust-producing operations, only expert protection is needed.
Q5: Is it able to adjust to surroundings with marine chloride?
A5: Yes. For offshore and chemical processing equipment, the protective oxide layer prevents biofouling and chloride pitting.
