Description
C17200 Beryllium Copper Sleeve Bearing for High-Load & Anti-Galling Applications | Precision CNC Machined to ±0.005mm
CuBe2/Alloy 25 precision material with 1.80–2.00% beryllium and Co+Ni stabilisers makes up our C17200 beryllium copper sleeve bearing. The bearing has a surface hardness of 36–42 HRC and a tensile strength of 1100–1400 MPa after precipitation hardening under AT/TF00 temper. Every CNC machining tolerance is maintained at less than ±0.005 mm. It may be used for exterior dimensions 10-500 mm and inside diameters 5-450 mm. Product manufactured to EN 10204 3.1, AMS 4650, ASTM B196, ISO 9001:2015. It may be used in hydraulic pump sleeves, pivot joints for heavy equipment, downhole drilling tools and flight control actuators .

What Is a C17200 Beryllium Copper Sleeve Bearing?
This bushing is built from UNS C17200 (also known as CuBe2, Alloy 25, EN CW101C and DIN 2.1247), which is the hardest copper alloy commercially available today.
Two-stage heat treatment: Instead of using standard bronze bushings, it is solution heat treated (TB00) and then precipitation hardened (AT/TF00).
Fine Microstructure: Phases rich in beryllium are equally distributed in a homogeneous, fine microstructure.
Proven Performance: The completed C17200 beryllium copper sleeve bearing can withstand high shock loads, prevent metal-to-metal galling and operate reliably in corrosive and poorly lubricated environments where conventional materials would degrade.

Key Performance Advantages
High Load Capacity: The bearing can withstand sudden shock loads and continuous radial pressure due to thermal hardening.
Anti-Fretting & Anti-Adhesion: Resists fretting corrosion and metal adhesion particularly when used with chrome-plated or hardened steel shafts. Suitable for low speed oscillation and occasional lubrication.
Improved Wear Resistance: The 36–42 HRC surface hardness provides greater wear resistance compared to aluminium bronze in contaminated conditions.
Non-Sparking: Safe for industrial environments with explosives .
Non-Magnetic: Will not interfere with magnetic fields.
Corrosion Resistance: Resists industrial solvents, hydraulic oil, sour gas, and saltwater.
Efficient heat dissipation: Thermal conductivity is 3 to 5 times that of steel bearings.
Application Scenarios
C17200 Beryllium Copper Sleeve Bearings' Industrial Uses
Aerospace Systems: Flap actuators, landing gear pivots, and control linkage bushings may sustain landing impact forces with little lubrication.
Oil and Gas Industry: MWD/LWD downhole tools are perfect for sour gas wells because of their anti-corrosion and non-magnetic qualities.
Piston sleeves and swash plate pivots in hydraulic pumps and motors guard against deformation under continuous high pressure.
Pivot joints for press machines, excavators, and cranes are examples of heavy equipment.
Ejector sleeves and core pins in injection molding.
Quality Control Process
All finished bearings are subject to all standardised inspections such as Rockwell C hardness testing, CMM dimensional detection, OES chemical analysis, ultrasonic internal fault screening, ASTM E112 microstructure analysis and surface finish testing. Each batch is given with EN 10204 3.1 test reports including conductivity, hardness and composition information.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: Why choose C17200 instead of aluminum bronze for heavy-duty bushings?
A1: The hardness of C17200 is 36-42 HRC, which is greater than aluminium bronze’s 25-30 HRC. This gives C17200 superior anti-galling performance and extended service life under cyclic severe loads.
Q2. What is the highest working temperature of the bearings?
A2: The product has stable mechanical characteristics under 250 °C. Over-aging at too high temperature. (lower hardness and load capability)
Q3: Is finished C17200 beryllium copper safe to handle?
A3: Solid finished bearings cause no hazards. Protective measures are only required during machining and polishing that produce dust particles.
Q4: Can the bearings operate without lubrication?
A4: It has reliable emergency running and anti-seizure properties, but proper lubrication is recommended to prolong service life.
Q5: How to verify genuine C17200 material?
A5: Customers can check the official MTC report with complete beryllium content, hardness, and batch traceability data.
