Description
C95400 Aluminum Bronze Plate for High-Load & Corrosive Applications — Superior Strength Solutions
C95400 Aluminum Bronze Plate is a high-strength copper-based alloy consisting of roughly 85% copper, 10–11.5% aluminum and 3–5% iron. Dongguan Jiaye Dingsheng Precision Casting & Forging Co., Ltd. has been in the precision copper alloy plate manufacture for more than 25 years. The alloy has a Brinell hardness of 170–190 HBW, a yield strength of 207–241 MPa and a tensile strength of 517–586 MPa. It is available in thicknesses from 3.0mm to 100mm and conforms to ASTM B148 and ASTM B505 requirements. Total material traceability is assured by the issuance of an EN 10204 3.1 MTC (Mill Test Certificate) with each shipment.
What Is C95400 Aluminum Bronze?
C95400 also known as 9C or C954 is an extensively used multi-purpose aluminium bronze alloy for industrial applications. With its unique iron-aluminum microstructure, it outperforms ordinary brass and tin bronze, offering strong anti-galling property, stable bearing capacity for severe mechanical stress and dependable performance in hostile chemical environment.
C95400 Aluminum Bronze Plate has stable structural performance at high temperature compared with normal bronzes, so it is applicable to heavy machinery parts and processing equipment. Engineers use it for sections of equipment that must turn easily and constantly.

Key C95400 Aluminum Bronze Plate Advantages
Aluminium bronze plate C95400 offers good load capacity and stability. It possesses tensile strength up to 586 MPa and hardness up to 190 HBW . It can withstand heavy mechanical stresses and lowers maintenance cost & downtime under extreme working conditions.
Aluminium is coated with an oxide layer that is resistant to industrial chemicals, brine and salt water. Reliable in high temperature oxidation for marine and chemical equipment. Excellent resistance to cavitation and erosion.
It ensures stable surface performance over long service cycles for pumps, valve bodies and propellers under hydraulic pressure and rapid flowing water.
This copper alloy is intrinsically antibacterial to minimise biofouling and non-sparking for hazardous situations in oil & gas. Compatible with TIG/MIG welder. Preheating large plates minimises cracking risk and simplifies fabrication and site upkeep.
Applications
- severe earthmoving & mining : wear plates, bushings and landing gear parts for abrasion resistance and severe impact resistance .
- Marine & offshore engineering Pump shafts, valve bodies and propellers for resistance to seawater cavitation and corrosion.
- Pickling line guide plates and slippers for steel mill equipment. High resistance to heat and chemical corrosion.
- Oil & gas industry: safety-critical components benefitting from its non-sparking feature.

Quality Control Process
All products adopt a three-stage strict inspection system. Incoming materials are tested via OES or ICP analysis to verify chemical composition compliance. Production temperature and pressure parameters are monitored in real time, with regular hardness and microstructure detection. Finished products undergo tensile, hardness and ultrasonic tests, as well as liquid penetrant inspection. All dimensions comply with ISO 9001 standards, with EN 10204 3.1 MTR provided for each batch.

FAQ
Q1: What is the machinability rating of Aluminum Bronze Plate?
A: Its machinability rating is 20. Carbide tools and low cutting speed are required for processing.
Q2: Is Aluminum Bronze Plate weldable?
A: Yes, TIG and MIG welding are available. Preheating is recommended for plates thicker than 25mm to prevent cracking.
Q3: What is the difference between C95400 and C93200 bearing bronze?
A: C95400 has higher strength and hardness, suitable for high-load and low-speed scenarios, while C93200 fits light-load and high-speed working conditions.
Q4: Does C95400 need heat treatment?
A: It can work stably in as-cast state. Quenching and tempering can improve its hardness and tensile strength for high-standard application scenarios.
Q5: What documents will be provided with the goods?
A:5Each order is matched with EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificate, covering chemical composition, mechanical test and dimension inspection data.
