Description
C17200 Beryllium Copper Mold Plate for Injection Molds — High Hardness & Fast Thermal Dissipation
C17200 Beryllium Copper Mold Plate (Alloy 25 / CuBe2) is a professional precision mould processing alloy material. Dongguan Jiaye Dingsheng Precision Casting & Forging Co., Ltd. was established in 1997 and has long-term alloy manufacturing expertise. This 10mm plate conforms to ASTM B194 and contains 1.80-2.00% beryllium. Tensile strength is 1110-1320MPa with hardness of 36-42 HRC. Its thermal conductivity is 105 W/m·K. We ship in-stock items within 3 to 5 days with full Mill Test Certificates for each lot.

What Makes This Alloy Different from Standard Tool Steel?
The heat transfer efficiency of C17200 Beryllium Copper Mold Plate is substantially greater than that of regular P20 and H13 mould steel. Cooling time takes up most of the duration of the moulding cycle, and good heat dissipation may substantially reduce the production cycle and stabilise the quality of the completed product. After ageing treatment, the hardness of the alloy is kept at the same level as ordinary mould steel, and the heat conduction performance is steady, which is suitable for long-term continuous mould manufacturing.

Key Performance Advantages
- Stable structure design. 10mm thickness can fit traditional mould inserts and wear resistant plates, which can be used to reduce the processing loss and fulfil the load-bearing requirement.
- The precipitation structure of the Balanced Performance Ageing enhances the wear resistance and the fatigue resistance without impacting the heat conductivity.
- High dimensional stability: Flatness tolerance is assured by precision rolling, which reduces mould debugging and milling burden.
- Non-sparking & corrosion-resistant: No spark when rubbed or hit; resists corrosion by acidic resins like PVC to increase mould life.
Application Scenarios
- Injection mould inserts: for thin wall packaging moulds. Uniform heat dispersal prevents warpage and distortion of the product.
- Blow Mould Accessories: High compression strength for clean cutting of mould blanks, minimising flash and stabilising product formation.
- Hot Runner Components: Withstands thermal fatigue during frequent cold/hot cycling, preserving steady dimensional correctness of nozzles and manifolds.
Quality Control Process
We implement three-stage full-process inspection: OES spectral analysis verifies raw material composition; production parameters and microstructure are monitored during processing; finished products pass ultrasonic flaw detection, hardness testing, conductivity calibration and grain structure analysis. All batches are equipped with EN 10204 3.1 test reports to realize full traceability.
