Description
Beryllium Copper Strip 0.3mm – C17200 Precision Spring Material for High-Performance Electronic Components
Beryllium Copper Strip 0.3mm adopts C17200 (Alloy 25) precipitation hardening alloy, widely used for precision electronic and mechanical spring parts. After aging treatment, the material reaches 1110–1320 MPa tensile strength with 22–25% IACS electrical conductivity. The strip is controlled to ±0.01mm thickness tolerance and will facilitate high speed progressive stamping. It is available in TB00, H02, H04 and TF00 tempers and meets industrial standards ASTM B194, ASTM B248, SAE J463 and ISO 5182.

What Is Beryllium Copper Strip 0.3mm?
Mechanical bearing capacity and conductivity are combined in Beryllium Copper Strip 0.3mm. The alloy consists of 1.80-2.00% beryllium and not less than 0.20% cobalt and nickel. It is hardened by precipitation at 315 °C for 2–3 h to get hardness of 36–42 HRC and yield strength of 950–1150 MPa.
With 131 GPa elastic modulus, the material withstands repeated flexion without permanent deformation. It maintains stable spring performance under regular operating temperature changes, suitable for long-cycle component use.

Key Product Advantages
Accurate Dimensional Stability: The laser calibration controls the thickness tolerance to ±0.01mm, which eliminates the die wear and maintains the uniform stamping results in high speed production.
Stable Elastic Performance: Material returns to its original shape after millions of deflections, ensuring a constant clamping force for micro switches and spring clips.
Good Forming Performance: Annealed and half-hard tempers allow for deep drawing, bending and blanking. Post-forming age treatment stabilises hardness without dimensional change.
Steady Electric and Thermal Output Fixed conductivity in compact electronic assembly layouts reduces contact resistance and increases heat dissipation.
Non-Magnetic & Safe operation: Low magnetic permeability, no outgassing during operation, Suitable for vacuum and semiconductor equipment.

Situations for Applications
For secure, long-term contact, this strip works well with spring clips and battery contact plates. It protects automobile sensor diaphragms for precise data under vibration and 5G and aerospace connections from the effects of temperature cycles. Additionally, it functions in continuous cycle operation for micro switches and EMI shielding gaskets.

Procedure for Quality Control
Every coil is subjected to testing of the final product, in-process monitoring, and raw material inspection. We assess mechanical characteristics, examine fine grain structure, and confirm alloy composition using OES analysis. Complete data records and EN 10204 3.1 test certifications are supplied with each batch.
Options for Customization and Supply
Within alloy standard ranges, custom width, temper, and performance characteristics are possible. We give a 24-hour quote, complete international logistics documentation, and in-stock items delivered in 3–5 days.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: Which temper suits pre-heat-treatment forming?
A1: TB00 annealed or H02 half-hard temper is available for stamping and bending. Aging at 315°C for 2–3 hours achieves stable hardness after processing.
Q2: Can it be used in vacuum environments?
A2: Yes. Non-magnetic and non-outgassing properties make it adaptable to vacuum and semiconductor equipment.
Q3: How does it compare with phosphor bronze?
A3: Higher fatigue strength and better conductivity, suitable for long-cycle and high-stability electronic component production.
Q4: What is the minimum bend radius?
A4: Half-hard temper supports 1t (0.3mm) minimum bend radius. Harder tempers require larger radii to avoid cracking.
Q5: Is solid strip safe for daily processing?
A5: Solid products cause no hazards. Ventilation and protective equipment are required only during dust-generating processing such as grinding.
