Description
C17200 Beryllium Copper Rod H04 – High-Strength Precision Bar Stock for Demanding Industrial Applications
C17200 Beryllium Copper Rod H04 is a precipitation-hardening copper alloy with 1.80–2.00% beryllium and trace cobalt and nickel. Manufactured by Dongguan Jiaye Dingsheng since 1997, the H04 temper rod adopts cold working and aging treatment, reaching 1110–1320 MPa tensile strength and 36–42 HRC hardness. It maintains 22–25% IACS conductivity and complies with ASTM B196, RWMA Class 4 and ISO 5182 standards. Available in 5–100mm diameters, all batches support full compliance certification and come with EN 10204 3.1 MTC test reports.

What Is C17200 Beryllium Copper Rod H04?
C17200 Beryllium Copper Rod H04 refers to hard-temper beryllium copper formed by cold working and 315°C constant-temperature aging treatment. This process refines internal grain structure and stabilizes overall dimensional performance. It balances the mechanical strength of alloy steel and the conductive and thermal transfer properties of copper materials, making up for the performance shortcomings of single standard steel and ordinary copper alloys for industrial use.

Key Performance Advantages
-
Stable structural performance: Standard hardness effectively avoids tool deformation under high-pressure welding and long-term compression, adapting to automated high-cycle production.
-
Heat and wear stability: Resists thermal shock and mechanical friction, maintaining stable dimensions in long-term high-temperature working environments.
-
Practical conductive performance: Stable current transmission reduces heat accumulation, suitable for various electrode and conductive contact parts.
-
Good process adaptability: Supports CNC machining of complex structures such as welding tips, bushings and EDM electrodes with conventional carbide tools.
Application Scenarios
This material fits RWMA Class 4 standard, widely used for automotive automated welding electrodes and wheel parts. It serves aerospace instrument shells and landing gear bushings with stable performance in extreme temperature environments. It acts as mold cooling inserts to shorten injection molding cycles. It also applies to marine corrosion-resistant equipment and explosion-proof environment non-sparking bearing parts.
Quality Control Process
We implement three-stage full-process inspection. Raw materials pass OES component calibration. Production parameters are monitored in real time during melting and rolling. Finished products undergo hardness, tensile, dimensional and flaw detection. All unqualified products are reprocessed, with full batch traceability for each shipment.
